Mike and I met in 1996. I was in high school and he had already graduated. We met at a local teen dance club and I asked him the time. He asked a friend for my number and the rest is History. (Hopefully this will not be how our children meet thier love)
We consider ourselves fun and somewhat wacky parents! Mike says we are both very conservative but I have a wacky idea or two! I would say Mike is tame in MOST areas and he would say I'm not tame at all, just plain crazy. We have a lot of fun and are VERY silly. We joke and play a lot. Life is fun and we enjoy it.
Mom is a stay a home mom and a VERY passionate person. Loves College football (Go LSU) Favorite Music is Contemporary Christian. Grew up loving country (still do) but made the transition to primarily Christian in 2004. Favorite band is currently casting crowns.. Favorite color is Fuchsia ~ of course! Favorite flower is a pink rose. Most would say mom is a pretty loud person, loves to laugh, talk, voice her opinion, and put jewels on her toe nails! Hanna AKA "Hannie McFannie" is the first child. She is 7 year old. Her birthday is December 27, 1998. As you know this is her site. Favorite music is Contemporary Christian. Favorite songs: People get ready Jesus is coming by Crystal Lewis and Who am I. Favorite color is Pink. Loves princesses, horses, unicorns, kittens, but her favorite animal is the Giraffe. She got one from build a bear for her birthday which is her favorite toy. It's name is Lovey. You will hear her talk about it a lot!
Reid AKA "Bubbie" is the Second Child. He is 4 years old. His birthday is June 13, 2002. He doesn't really care about Music too much although he loves building things. He also likes to tie things up, and to play outside. I started him in kindergarten this fall and am working on teaching him to read. He likes to tease his sisters but is very much a tender heart. Ella Marie "Boo" is the third child. She is 2 years old. Her birthday is May 13 2004. She is a nut and into everything. She keeps us laughing. She loves to sing, her siblings, and lots of attention! Ashleyrose "Chou" is the fourth child. She was due September 16, 2005 but was delivered by c-section on September 2nd 2005.
She is a crazy baby and the last. She is 19 months old now and growing so fast! She is walking all over the place and into everything! She says Mommy, Daddy, No, shoe, and outside. She is a tiny thing but long. She weighs only about 20 lbs! God is just allowing her to stay smaller for me since she is my last baby!!!

History of the nicknames.
Mike and I both have nicknames for the kids and it seems we only use their real names when they are in trouble. Mike does call them my nicknames but mainly sticks to his own because there are stories there. The nicknames evolve over time and are finished by the time they are 2 years old. They may change as they get older but for now these are the ones that have stuck for over a year. I tried to spell them the way they are said. Here's the story...
Hanna:
Me- "Hannie McFannie" because it rhymes and it's fun to say
Mike- "Blab-blanoe". He used to call her "Mexican" because when she was little everyone asked is she was from Texas with a name like Texana. It was very aggravating so I would seriously respond that she was from Mexico. That stuck for a while then it got into the rhyiming game from "Mexican" to "Mexicanoe" to "Blab-blanoe". Mike still calls her Mexican some times. He got away from it because you never know who you will offend although it really is complementary.
Reid:
Me- "Bubbie". An evolution from "dinky doodle" to "dinky doo" to "dinky" to "dink" and breifly "dinkamuss stinkamuss" then as he got older Bubba just seemed to fit but Bubbie finally stuck.
Mike-"Bizzle" because when he was a baby he would say buzz buzz buzz
Ella Marie:
Me-Ok hers is bad, I don't know why but I started with "lovie lou" then it changed to "poo poo doo doo" then to
"Boo-ba-doo" then to "boo boo" then to "boo". Don't know why just did.
Mike- "Tubbie". She was a chubbie baby and it rhymed.
Ahsleyrose:
Hers is still in the evolutionary process but it has been "Chou Chou" for a while now because when Mke was trying to come up with a name he couldn't and settled on "Baby" and there is a baby doll called Baby Chou Chou.
